Electrophysiology

Boston Scientific INTELLAGEN™

  • INTELLAGEN™ is an RF (radiofrequency) ablation system used to treat cardiac electrical disorders and is compatible with all Boston Scientific RF ablation catheters.
  • The system allows automatic catheter recognition and quick setup using pre-defined parameters, improving workflow efficiency in EP laboratories.
  • It includes safety alert functions such as high-current alarms, contact quality monitoring, and user-adjustable thresholds, helping enhance patient safety.
  • Its modern, intuitive interface includes a touchscreen, real-time parameter display, and clear alerts, making it easier for clinical staff to operate the system.
  • The system can store physician profiles and different ablation presets, allowing better management of individualized ablation strategies.

Boston Scientific FARAPULSE™

  • The FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) system performs ablation using non-thermal (neither heat nor cold) electromagnetic pulses, thereby reducing the risk of damage to surrounding tissues.
  • The system provides a full workflow solution, integrating transseptal access, ablation delivery, and electro-mapping.
  • The FARAWAVE ablation catheter features a transformable distal design (flower/basket shapes), allowing adaptation to different anatomies.
  • The newer FARAWAVE NAV catheter includes magnetic navigation tracking and enables real-time visualization through the FARAVIEW software module.
  • Clinical experience shows very strong safety outcomes, with no reported cases of esophageal fistula, phrenic nerve injury, or pulmonary vein stenosis.

Boston Scientific OPAL HDx™ Mapping System

  • The OPAL HDx Mapping System is a 3D electroanatomical mapping and navigation system used in electrophysiology procedures; it provides integrated mapping support for both RF (radiofrequency) ablation and Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA).
  • The system is tightly integrated with the FARAPULSE platform: the FARAVIEW™ module allows real-time visualization of PFA energy delivery points, catheter shape, and rotation.
  • OPAL HDx operates with a low noise floor, enabling better signal discrimination even in fibrotic or scarred tissue, helping to identify conduction gaps and viable pathways.
  • The system includes a Signal Station (SiS), workstation, localization generator, and associated cables/accessories.
  • According to its indications, OPAL HDx is designed for atrial and ventricular mapping, enabling real-time catheter tracking and multi-format cardiac map visualization.

EP-TRACER 2 Portable

  • EP-TRACER 2 Portable is the first fully functional electrophysiological recording system with an internal stimulator (2 outputs). Thanks to its lightweight and compact design, the device can be easily carried even in a carry-on bag.
  • The device is equipped with 12 surface ECG channels, 20, 52 or 84 bipolar intracardiac channels depending on the model selected, and 6 auxiliary channels for measurements such as invasive blood pressure.
  • In addition to special “triggered” and pressure modes, it perfectly visualizes data from different sources, including the latest generation of cryoablation devices, thanks to the user-adjustable multiple screen sections (split-screen).
  • Through a special review software, it is possible to securely access and review reports and procedure results within the clinic from any point in the hospital network.
  • Thanks to its innovative housing structure, it is fully compatible with standard computer equipment. It is extremely quick and easy to set up and run, making your workflow seamless.
