Boston Scientific OPAL HDx™ Mapping System
- The OPAL HDx Mapping System is a 3D electroanatomical mapping and navigation system used in electrophysiology procedures; it provides integrated mapping support for both RF (radiofrequency) ablation and Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA).
- The system is tightly integrated with the FARAPULSE platform: the FARAVIEW™ module allows real-time visualization of PFA energy delivery points, catheter shape, and rotation.
- OPAL HDx operates with a low noise floor, enabling better signal discrimination even in fibrotic or scarred tissue, helping to identify conduction gaps and viable pathways.
- The system includes a Signal Station (SiS), workstation, localization generator, and associated cables/accessories.
- According to its indications, OPAL HDx is designed for atrial and ventricular mapping, enabling real-time catheter tracking and multi-format cardiac map visualization.
